It's a shame your LCS staffer was so rude to you. I have several stories of various hobby shop employees mistreating me or my family. I would think a bricks-and-mortar shop would have a hard enough time staying in business even without piling bad customer service skills on top of their other economic pressures. I picked up a full set of the cards on eBay, including Bryant, for about what I would have spent in a shop anyway. I missed out on the chance of getting an autograph, but I'm okay with that.RAZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17519699812373438878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7649733671850798799.post-3016207814743052042016-08-17T14:53:39.402-04:002016-08-17T14:53:39.402-04:00I can relate to your LCS experience. I was very surprised to see that I was also the only one in the shop to even know about the promo and the owners didn't even bother advertising it or making an announcement. Although from what one owner told me, it sounds like just another way for Topps to boost their sales and card shops had to purchase a certain amount of Topps products in order to even participate in the promo. If i were you, I'd call the shop and let them know that their employee on Saturday had zero customer service skills and was grumpy towards you and your family. Anyway, nice to see you were able to get to participate.Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05300769076865200758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7649733671850798799.post-29518306436146143572016-08-16T23:44:55.021-04:002016-08-16T23:44:55.021-04:00It's a shame that people like that have to be ...It's a shame that people like that have to be curmudgeons on what is supposed to be a cheerful National Baseball Card Day.
